Moment Wise is designed as a 6–12 decision-making curriculum organized around five areas where students regularly face real-world choices. Each course can stand alone or fit into a broader multi-year sequence.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Grades 6–8

Digital Decisions

Builds foundational judgment for social media, messaging, privacy, digital reputation, online conflict, AI, and evaluating what students see online.

Money Decisions

Introduces everyday money judgment through spending choices, online purchases, scams, persuasive offers, games and rewards, and understanding when money is at risk.

Health Decisions

Helps students recognize peer influence, social pressure, health risks, and the forces that can shape decisions about substances and other health behaviors.

Social Decisions

Develops judgment around friendship, belonging, peer pressure, conflict, boundaries, trust, reputation, and knowing when to ask an adult for help.

Future Readiness

Helps students begin connecting interests, strengths, goals, education, habits, and career possibilities while learning how choices today can shape future options.

HIGH SCHOOL
Grades 9–12

Digital Decisions

Examines more complex digital choices involving AI, misinformation, privacy, algorithms, online influence, reputation, and the long-term consequences of digital actions.

Money Decisions

Develops judgment around gambling, scams, financial hype, persuasive marketing, spending, risk and reward, and other money choices students increasingly face as they gain independence.

Health Decisions

Examines how peers, stress, rewards, social norms, and immediate pressures can shape decisions involving substances, vaping, health risks, and personal well-being.

Social Decisions

Builds more advanced judgment around group dynamics, conflict, trust, boundaries, reputation, influence, difficult conversations, and responding when situations become unsafe.

Future Readiness

Helps students evaluate education, training, career, work, and financial tradeoffs while considering goals, uncertainty, adaptability, and what matters most in major future decisions.

Built to work together or on their own. Schools can use individual courses where they fit best, while districts can build a broader 6–12 sequence that develops decision-making across multiple years.
